The Process
As the new rodeo season is beginning, here is some
information that will help you get your membership paperwork in order. If you still have questions, please contact our district membership secretary.

National Membership (NHSRA) must be paid by August 15, 2026 to guarantee to rodeo in September. The National Membership Portal will open for renewals and new memberships on August 1st.

After September 15, your national and state paperwork must be uploaded to the National Portal AT LEAST 3 weeks BEFORE the closing of entries to ensure you can rodeo.

CHSRA Membership must be paid by August 31, 2026 to rodeo in September.- See link below
Required Fees
NHSRA Membership Fee: Junior High Division: $95 + processing
NHSRA Membership Fee: High School Division: $139 + processing
CHSRA Membership Fee: $100
Required CHSRA Raffle Ticket Sales: $200 (4 @ $50)
Adult Associate Membership Fee: $25 per member
District Sponsorship Fee: $250-500 (varies per district)

CHSRA 26-27 Associate Memberships

Associate Memberships are required for each youth member in accordance with your district bylaws. Your Associate Membership helps provide the insurance coverage that allows you to be in restricted arena areas during rodeo events. Please remember that proper western attire and dress code must be followed whenever required. The yearly associate membership fee is $25.00 per person and can be purchased through he portal listed below.
